Afternoon Tea at Olive and Bean - 07/03/12

Coincidentally Katie (one of my flatmates) and I have birthdays that follow on from one another, I'm the 8th and she's the 9th. We'd decided to have a bit of a girls day prior to our birthdays. We went and got our hair done and then went for afternoon tea at Olive and Bean on Clayton Street. Their 'Tea for Two' is £13.99 which I considered to be an utter bargain when I laid eyes on the tea stand of food coming towards our table.

We had four types of sandwiches; ham and tomato, roast chicken, tuna and cucumber and egg mayonnaise and tomato. We also have a large fruit scone each served with cream and jam. I have to say the scones were quite salty which was a little disappointing. Finally, we had small pieces of cranberry tiffin and chocolate and caramel slice, as well as Oreo chocolate muffins. These we had to take home as we just had no room left whatsoever. All this comes with unlimited amounts of tea and coffee. See what I mean about an absolute bargain?
